Firmly addressing downsizing, he affirmed the closure of the Public Works Department (PWD), dismissing delays and advocating for streamlined governance.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recounted his recent diplomatic ventures to Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, where he engaged with global leaders, notably Russian President Vladimir Putin. Reflecting on his discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang during his visit to China, Shehbaz Sharif chaired a recent meeting to assess progress and scheduled further deliberations for July 20.

Domestically, 

the Prime Minister highlighted monumental initiatives, such as the solarisation of 28,000 tube wells in Balochistan, to save Rs80 billion annually. He commended the efforts of local authorities and ministries for advancing this transformative project. The Finance Ministry has been tasked with devising a comprehensive plan to convert a million tube wells currently reliant on imported fuel, a burden amounting to $3.5 billion in foreign exchange. Acknowledging Pakistan's vast solar energy potential, Shehbaz Sharif underscored the urgency of leveraging renewable resources to reduce energy costs and provide affordable electricity to farmers.

In pursuit of structural reforms, the Prime Minister imposed taxes on the real estate sector to boost revenues and eliminate tax evasion practices. Expressing determination to make the current IMF program the last, he called for sacrifices and emphasized the imperative of enhancing exports through strategic planning from the Commerce and IT ministries.
